How it works

Four steps, one care team

An endocrinologist reviews your history, medicines and tests, and checks whether a programme is right for you.

Personalised plan

Nutrition, activity, sleep and medicine plans built around your goals, food habits and routine.

Monitored follow-up

Regular check-ins with your dietitian or coach, scheduled doctor reviews and safe medicine adjustment.

Maintenance

A long-term plan to protect your progress, with early action if weight or sugars start to rise.

FAQ

Common questions

What does “remission” of type 2 diabetes mean?

An international consensus report defines remission as an HbA1c below 6.5% (48 mmol/mol) measured at least 3 months after stopping glucose-lowering medicines. Remission is not a cure, eligibility varies, and it is not achievable for everyone. Medicines should only ever be changed under medical supervision, and regular monitoring continues either way. For many people the right goal is good long-term control, with or without medicines.

Will my diabetes medicines change?

They may or may not. Some people are able to reduce certain medicines as their health improves; others continue to need them, and that is safe and normal. Every change is decided and supervised by your endocrinologist. Please never stop or change a medicine on your own.

Is this a crash diet?

No. Plans are personalised and built around Indian food habits. When a structured lower-calorie phase is appropriate, it is supervised, time-limited and planned with your doctor and dietitian, with medicines adjusted safely.

Can I do the programme online?

Yes, many parts can be done online, including many follow-up consultations and dietitian sessions. Some steps — such as a physical examination and certain tests — need an in-person visit to a participating centre or laboratory.

Which tests will I need?

This depends on your condition. Common tests include HbA1c, glucose, lipids, kidney and liver function and thyroid tests. Your doctor may use recent reports you already have. Laboratory tests are charged separately unless stated in your package.
